November 2024 Construction Spending Update

Q3 2024 Construction Spending Update (November 1 Data Release):

• The gradual slowing of construction in the first half of 2024 reversed in the third quarter with slight increases across both Residential and Nonresidential segments.
• Residential construction increased by 0.5% and nonresidential grew 0.1%.
• On an annual basis construction spending is up 4.6% form this time last year.
